When and where are the local events?

All meetings and events are listed on the web site with specified times and dates, please visit our calendar and events page, then select the type of meeting or event you are inquiring about. You may also print out the list of events of a copy of our monthly newsletter to find out more of the happenings in the Town of Manila.

What local motels and cafes are available? How about other businesses?
Answer:
The business section of this web site lists all local businesses and telephone numbers. However, you are welcome to call the Manila staff at 435-784-3143 for specific information.

When is the Manila Class II landfill open?
Answer:
The landfill is open each Monday from 9:00 A.M. to noon and Saturdays from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
During the winter the landfill is open only on the first Saturday of the month and every Monday.

Is weekly curbside pickup available?
Answer:
Manila picks up the trash each Monday for the Manila residences and a small fee is charged.

How do I find out about fishing, camping and making reservations for a camp site?
Answer:
The National Forest Service is the best contact for that information at 435-784-3445. You may also visit our world of area links to get further information of public and private camping.

How may I obtain information about water/sewer utilities and other permits?

What emergency services are available?
Answer:
EMT and ambulance services may be obtained by calling 911 dispatch. Manila has a full service health center. For appointments call 435-784-3575. For emergencies or after hours call 435-778-0008 or access 911 dispatch.

Are there a Senior Citizens Center and activities?
Answer:
Yes, the Manila town office can provide day time access to the center. Lunch and dinner are provided during the month. The specific days, times, and menu items may be found on the calendar of events page along with other meeting announcements.
